Speak Like a Native French Speaker

This may start out as a post and end up as a series of posts, but here’s the list so far (added to often) of common French words or phrases.

Some are words that are not commonly used in the way taught in French classes; some are phrases you wouldn’t learn at all.

Don’t worry–they’re clean!

Ca va aller: That will work. It’s fine.
Ca va s’arranger: It will work out.
A ton ecoute: At your service. We welcome your opinion (used in marketing initiatives)
Qu’est ce qu’il fait froiiiiid! I can’t believe how cold it is!
Profiter de To take advantage of, as in a warm day, for example
Je vais finir par… I’m going to end up…
